MORE: With his striking black coat and gold eyes, North is a beautiful full gray wolf bravely discovering what it means to be part of a pack. Rescued from an isolated life in Beaumont, Texas, he is overcoming his initial fears at SFWS to become a sweet, inquisitive, and easygoing companion. North is already mastering wolf skills like digging dens and communicating with neighbors, and he has completely stolen the hearts of his keepers by pausing mid-breakfast to offer a soft howl of thanks—a touching glimpse into his deeply grateful spirit.
